I purchased this item for my 9-year old nephew because he wanted a lightsaber that could glow and was not cheap looking. When I received this saber, I was disappointed. Not only did it not glow, but it was very tiny, and not meant to be played with. It was supposed to remain in its display stand for viewing purposes only. It was, however, constructed of high quality heavy metal. When I returned the item, the seller promptly refunded my money, for which I am thankful.
