I don't really understand why someone with a neck this long would choose to play with a lightsaber. Epecially since your neck is almost as long as your lightsaber. I'm sure if he was ever animated, it would provide for countless "ooops" death possibilities.

Other than the fact that he's a ploy for Geoge Lucas to make more money off the franchise, he's a great addition to any star-wars collection. Especially if you collect Jedi.

Articulation is poor - no the neck does not bend - and because of his height, balancing without the stand is a bit hard - his legs are canted back like a bird's which adds to his forward inertia - especially if you have him hold his lightsaber in the front.

The lightsaber is surplus Macquarrie stormtrooper saber, which is also the saber of choice for most of the animated series Jedi. His hands (old crone like things) have difficulty graspint it in one hand - if you remove the plastic-band - so you'll have to have him grasp it with both hands - which happily mesh together nicely - though the blade has a tendency to still slip in between so he ends up holding the actual blade instead of the hilt sometimes.
