Product Description
Star Wars ARC 170 STARFIGHTER

Editorial Review
The clone troopers from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith don't exactly need a custom ride as they patrol the galaxy far, far away enforcing the will of Emperor Palpatine and his forces of the dark side. Still, they get to operate a pretty nifty starfighter as depicted here in miniature form. It sports a swing-down handle for easy navigation, a pair of spring-loaded projectiles, proton torpedoes that drop down on the bottom, and wings that open in classic Star Wars x-formation. An R2 unit fits snugly in the wing to serve as a navigation aide. No clone troopers are included with this set, leaving you free to either buy some or load up other action figures from around the house, thus creating an entirely new science fiction adventure as GI Joe, the Power Rangers, and Barbie all take the ride of their lives. --Charlie Williams

this is a very fun toy to play with but there are a few problems.one thing is that the wings fall of a lot.another thing is it does not come with pilots an a R2 droid and you have to go crazy looking for them.finally the missles sometimes get jammed. Overall, this toy is very fun to play with.(when it works)

2 out of 5 stars "It's not the greatest toy"   February 23, 2006

The bad thing about this toy:This toy, mmm..... not the best. sometimes, most of the time, parts fall off and it's a big pain. Usually the wings, but not only the wings. The guns fall off, the missles sometimes fire easily by accident, it's not the greatest toy. The good thing about this toy: You can imagine a lot of things when you're playing with this toy, if you're like me. The extra wings can come out easily, four of them. But what I'm trying to say here is, you probaly shoudn't buy this toy.

If you're Maurice Russo, I don't know what to say.

3 out of 5 stars Cool but will not stay together   January 1, 2006

Overall, this is a really cool toy with a lot of features.....basically, the same thing that everybody else has written. The only MAJOR complaint I have is that it DOES NOT STAY TOGETHER. The wings fall off very easily, as well as the guns that mount to the bottom of the wings. It is very difficult for my 5 year old son to fly around the room without it falling apart in some way. It is also very difficult for him (at his age) to fly it around the room without accientally dropping the bombs (which is a minor problem).
